Motley Crue and the Last Day of School

its the last day of school before the christmas holidays :D
and whats better than that? we get out at 12:30 rater than 2:45
then i go home to hit the showers and im off to the youth christmas banquet
a few weeks i suggested a live kareoke band perform
and it actually happened, and im drumming for them! pretty sweet eh?
so i have a follower! FINALLY! sad part? its me
yup
im the only person that reads these posts
i dont know why i even bother posting anymore
so for christmas my aunt is giving me a bunch of KISS shit, mainly shirts and a pair of boxers
then i had the option of $30 in cash, or a giant KISS related book
so of course i took the book
so later that school, i realized i haven't been paying any attention to the local concert scene
so im goin through seeing whos coming through
there was muse which were considered
than i saw U2, who for some reason feels compelled to come here a 3rd time this year
then,i see one of the greats listed, which im surprised hadnt sold out
who could it be?
well if you read the title, which you didnt cause im the only one who reads this,
you'd know its Motley Crue
so i rush out of class into the only hallway with decent reception and call my aunt
i propose the idea of getting a really shity ticket, and then just buying the book myself on boxing day.
she bought it.

Sadly, today is the 18th anniversary of the death of our beloved friend Eric Carr.

We all miss and remember Eric for his devotion to his fans and his dedication and belief in KISS. He was a ferocious drummer with a gentle spirit. We all lost him way too soon.

in order to be able to give the specific details of his death, i searched it up on wiki

Following the tour for the album Hot in the Shade, Carr began coughing up blood. Medical tests revealed what at first appeared to be manageable problems with his health[11]. Before long, however, he was diagnosed with an unexpectedly serious and extremely rare type of cancer - heart cancer. Carr underwent surgeries to remove tumors in his right atrium and lungs in an effort to restore heart function and prevent the cancer's growth. Carr recovered enough to fly to Los Angeles to be with the band to play drums, but they told him to go home and get well. He then cut off all communication with Stanley and Simmons. With aggressive treatment the cancer went into remission and Carr's health began to improve. However, not long afterwards he suffered from an aneurysm and was rushed to hospital. He survived this episode, but it was only a matter of days before he suffered a brain hemorrhage caused by cancer cells transported in his bloodstream to the head.[citation needed] Carr died on November 24, 1991, at the age of 41[12] (coincidentally the same date as Queen singer Freddie Mercury's death). In keeping with Carr's accessibility to his fans, his family decided to open his funeral service to the public, and reserved the interment as a private event.
Carr is interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery in the Town of Newburgh, New York.

even to this day
he was an amazing drummer, a practical joker, an inspiration, a friend

KISS Alive 35 review

It was a saturday night in November, the 14th of 2009.
It was freezing cold and windy beyond belief, like a November night should be.
Where were you? I know where I was!
I was among 50,000 other British Columbians at the hottest show on the Earth.
First, Buckcherry came out and played a powerfull set.
But the night belonged to the true kings of the night time world.
As the stage was being set, a larger than life curtain was unveiled that boar the mighty KISS logo.
"VANCOUVER!
YOU WANTED THE BEST!
YOU GOT THE BEST!
THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!
KISS!"
The curtain drops and out comes KISS just gliding through "Deuce"
Fans are screaming and for some, even crying.
Many have waited years to see the gods of thunder, and their dreams have finally come true.
After 2-3 hours of being rocked by KISS, fans return home to go back to their daily lives.
But this, was a concert, that won't be forgotten

Fireworks = Illegal

A few years ago, fireworks were made illegal in Surrey B.C.
Yeah, nobody really enforces this law, but holy crap.
C'mon kids, it's getting really annoying.
my friend's dog was actually puking beacause of the fireworks, and that's a little bit on the ridiculous side.
now this normally wouldn't bother me too too much, but it gets to the point where i cant even sleep.
there is no way i'm the only person that has to deal with this.

so if you're one of those cool kids with explosives, please, for the love of god, f#ck off

Borderlands Review

Can you say over-rated?
Cause that might as well be the name of the game.
Over a "bagillion" guns?
It's almost easy to say these guns are different due to colour, not stats. Because other than that, there isnt much of a significant differance between most of them.
The graphics are great, the controls are easy, by far the best parts of the game.
The voice actors are also well chosen.
There only seems to be about 5-8 types of enemies throughout the game.
That's my take on the game, "Borderlands"
Rating? 6/10

First Blog

First blogs are supposed to be special or something aren't they? Well you're not gettting that here. In fact, you'll be quite lucky to get coherent sentances, proper spelling and grammar, etc. I can garuntee my main topics ( if i actually continue with this blog ) will be: Pictures from my photography class (reason for blog's existance), music, my band's happenings, school crap, movies, the occasional t.v shows, and any video games i come across worth reviewing. I think this'll do for an introductory post, hopefully i manage to get a few followers, although i dont really expect to.
